Industrial Safety Orientation
The Industrial Safety Training System (ISTS) Orientation course is designed to meet the worker orientation requirements for British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, in line with the new GSO Guideline. It provides participants with an introduction to the fundamental principles of hazard recognition, assessment, and control. The course covers common workplace hazards, along with the responsibilities of both employees and employers regarding safety practices. It can also fulfill client-specific requirements and may serve as an alternative to CSTS and PST when facilitated by a qualified Certified Orientation Instructor who has completed the IMPACT Certified Orientation Instructor program.
